What is a Technical Sales and Service Coordinator?

A Technical Sales and Service Coordinator provides day-to-day support of customer accounts and serves as a primary point of contact between the customer and the company. The Technical Sales and Service Coordinator can provide customer support, technical support, planning and optimization for the accounts, as well as developing a relationship with the customers. Takes incoming calls from customers, determines which product or service fits the application, and quotes the customer. Follows up with customers after quoting to obtain feedback, answer questions, and obtain purchase orders.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least one years equivalent work experience in sales (inside or technical sales preferred).

Duties and Responsibilities

Required Experience and Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred. Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English. • One to three years equivalent work experience in sales required (inside or technical sales preferred). • Familiarity with international shipping regulations and documentation requirements preferred. • Proficient in MS Office products. • Good understanding of business mathematical concepts. • Extensive knowledge of company systems and software.

Physical and Technical Environment

• Minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally. • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop in a normal office environment. • Ability to routinely travel throughout multi-floor office and shop area, walking, climbing stairs, utilizing elevator. • Clean and orderly manufacturing environment and/or normal office conditions, changing deadlines and project requirements, strict time constraints.
